As Founder of the First Minneapolis “Red Carpet for Hope” and Co-Chair of the last two Galas, I am beyond ecstatic to reveal that last Sunday’s Golden Globes viewing party in Minneapolis raised over $320,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Suddenly, it seems to be that time of year again.  Yes, the holiday season!  As a St. Jude parent, I will always associate the St. Jude Walk and the Thanks and Giving Campaign with the holiday season. Oddly, I look upon my own time spent at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during the 2008 holiday season with a degree of Fondness and spiritual Fulfillment.  While living through it however, I wasn’t remotely Feeling that way.
