Here are FIVE FABULOUS products I love and an accompanying little endorsement of each of them. This will be a short and sweet blog post. (I’ve been working on an upcoming speech I have the opportunity to give in less than two short weeks.  I’ve been mentally consumed in writing that and will eventually share at least in part in a few weeks). So here are THE FAB FIVE products I highly recommend and ones I don’t wish to live without:

LAURA MERCIER CAMOUFLAGE:

IMG_8979This product is wonderful.  It conceals discolorations, imperfections and redness with this unique two-toned concealer.  If you have any skin imperfections and/or rosacea (I have both!) it works like a charm to cover it up.  “Try it, you’ll like it!” It works with a brush in a hurry. Use this product over any imperfections and a bit of lipstick if you’re on the go and VIOLA you’re good to go! It comes in varying two toned shades to match your unique skin tone.

PONDS CLEANSING TOWLETTES:

IMG_8980This one is my no brainer, must have.  I especially like them for travel-easy to pack and they stay moist.  They not only cleanse well, they moisturize too.  They work nicely to clean make-up brushes too. They are excellent at removing mascara, are very gentle on the skin and have a pleasant fragrance.

EUCERINE CREME:

IMG_8981This is the “Mother” of all moisturizers in my opinion.  I recently purchased a new whole bottle after returning from Sumba where I pretty well scorched my old skin.  I was peeling for days and liberally applied this all over my molting body.  TMI and gross visual,  I know.  Apologies.  That said, I think it succeeds in doing what it says it does.   Though it claims to be lightweight, I disagree.  It is rich and emollient.

CLINIQUE CLEARING GEL:

IMG_8982I think I have been utilizing this miracle product for blemishes for approximately 40 years…I SWEAR by it! Those of us who don’t have perfect skin at all times sometimes need a product to zap our unwanted blemishes ASAP!  I feel like I’ve tried a lot of products over a 40 year lifespan and THIS is the only one that seems to diminish the problem within a short time frame.

And FINALLY: (and oh my gosh, I’m just realizing that it coincidentally starts with the letter “F”) I wanted to endorse this final fifth product:

FELS-NAPTHA:

IMG_8983I remember finding out about this product one summer when our family was in our favored Massachusetts rental house during vacation.  I can’t remember if my good friend from Rhode Island told me about it.  I do remember a particular white Izod shirt though that was FULL of red lipstick smeared by one of the kids.  I remember looking at the white shirt and wanting to cry when I saw it was potentially ruined with the red lipstick stains.  I bought this product and per the directions, wet and worked this bar like soap into each of the areas and miraculously washed out the stains with perfection.  AMAZING!  I have had at least one bar on hand in my laundry room at all times since.  I noticed on the packaging it is made by the Dial corporation.  So if you’re in need of an extraordinary stain buster-try this one and let me know if the results you get are equally excellent!

I’d love to know if any of you use these products or have other phenomenal products to recommend and share or  if you try these yourselves and have similar or differing opinions!!!

Have a lovely Spring Weekend-I’m loving the greenery and ambiance of SPRING and all it represents.  HOPE AND RENEWAL – BRING IT ON!!!

I totally agree on Ponds wipes and Fels-Naptha. I remember Fels taking out the toughest kid stains including ground in grass stains combined with baseball diamond dirt….not to mention chocolate milk and red kool-aid. Thanks for the other tips for skin care and cover-up. If I could look like you, I am totally trying them!
