Happy New Year to all! Two Thousand FIFTEEN!!!

I had EVERY good intention to post a Christmas Blog post on Friday, December 26th. Alas, the best laid plans as they say were Foiled by a Family Flu that rendered this Christmas a bit of a Flop. A Few kids were sick, along with my Father on Christmas Eve-Christmas Day. By the time I reached Fort Lauderdale en route to our Francis Family adventure at sea, I “Fell” ill as well and went directly to the room with teeth chattering chills and all the other conceivable “Flu” symptoms. Simultaneoulsy, my own Father had succumbed to some version of this illness and was admitted to a local hospital with a diagnosis of pneumonia that night. (Happily, I can report he was just discharged today after a 2-week stint). He’s still recovering while presently requiring oxygen. UGGHHH…Definitely a Christmas to possibly FORGET!

That said, my own recovery was made easier by boarding a ship the Following day for a scheduled one week FANDANGO at sea with the entire FRANCIS Family. The trip consisted of three stops on land to Nassau, St. Thomas and St. Martin. (All three islands which I have had the good Fortune to have visited before once if not more). Needless to say, I made a Full recovery at sea from the Christmas Flu. My commentary on this will be short but wanted to share some of the pictures at this juncture. It was truly a memorable, special trip. The trip is sure to provide many memories over the many years to come. With that preface, here are some photos of some of the week’s Festivities aboard the OASIS of the Sea. The largest cruise ship in the world carrying approximately 10,000 people aboard and providing a multitude of activities!

I intended to try to update last Friday as well but being aboard the ship proved to be just too distracting! I am going to try to do a couple more “F” posts this month. As I write this, I am just home from a 3 day trip to Los Angeles whereupon I have dropped number one son off for his First college experience. In addition, our Red Carpet for Hope Golden Globes Viewing Gala is Sunday evening. A lot going on in January 2015! Here are just some of the Fun and Festivities at sea. I have made an entire Facebook Album so all of the pictures are available for Full viewing there now. Here are just a few of some FUN, Family, F-otos for now:
